It all started on a Spring day on the Great Lawn of New York City's Central Park when the co-founders of Traveler's Joy created a mission statement and the basic flowchart of how the business would operate. We didn't have a name but knew that a honeymoon registry service was in demand for our generation and those to come. 5 years have passed and the Traveler's Joy team and business have grown exponentially.
All of us can still recall the excitement on the the day our first Member signed up and the first time a Member redeemed their gifts for their honeymoon. In addition to site enhancements and business development, we shared responsibility for customer service and rotated our schedules each week to ensure one of us was available 24 hours a day. We didn't sleep much the first couple of years!
It has been an unbelievable journey of entrepreneurship, learning, dedication, and friendship. The feeling of joy each time a Member receives a gift for their honeymoon is now shared by an entire team of people at Traveler's Joy. We are so thankful to our Members for helping us continue to spread the word about the joy of honeymoon travel and how Traveler's Joy can play a role in making it happen!
