Hey everyone!
First off, we'd like to say that your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for. The time, effort, and expense of traveling to be with us is something we deeply appreciate in our hearts, and we are so thrilled that we will be able to celebrate this happy occasion with you.
We have been blessed to have a lot of the essential home items a newly engaged couple needs. We hope you find this registry as a way to help us make our perfect honeymoon come true! We are very much looking forward to our first real adventure as husband and wife. It is because of the wonderful memories we will gain from this trip that we finally settled on a honeymoon registry. We greatly appreciate and will fondly remember these gifts for years to come. After all, the memories from this honeymoon will last our lifetimes!
In many places we have included multiple excursions or activities. This is where you will have a real impact on our honeymoon; you will be deciding what we do at each stop! We'll do our best to document our totally rad experiences via photo and include it in your much-deserved "thank you" note.
Thanks so much again and we can't wait to see you at the wedding (or earlier!).
Love,
Shawn & Katie
We're going to Cozumel, Grand Cayman, Montego Bay!
Here's our cruise itinerary! We're so unbelievable excited about this trip (Katie has never been on a cruise, and Shawn hasn't been since he was a wee little tyke!)
Cozumel, Mexico | December 7th
The Conquistadors first saw Mexico from the shores of Cozumel while searching for gold. Today, visitors to the island continue to seek out gold and silver jewelry in the shops of San Miguel while having a great time in its many local bars and restaurants. Plus, the waters around Cozumel's sheltered coral reefs make this one of the best snorkeling areas in the world.
George Town, Grand Cayman | December 8th
Grand Cayman is one of a group of three magnificent tropical islands Christopher Columbus called "Las Tortugas" (the turtles) for the sea creatures he found in the ocean water. The designation did not endure, however, for on later maps the islands were labeled the Caimanau, the Carib Indian word for "crocodile." The name "Caimanas" refers inaccurately to the iguanas native to the islands, which were perhaps at one point mistaken for crocodiles. Among other attractions, visitors to the island will enjoy learning about the turtles, visiting the town of Hell, exploring Seven-Mile Beach and enjoying the undersea world.
Montego Bay, Jamaica | December 9th
The recently renovated "Mo' Bay," as the locals call this town, competes with Ocho Rios as the island's most visited resort town. Montego Bay has great bars and restaurants, renowned shopping, and an endless array of leisure activities. And with the friendly hospitality of the Jamaican people, having a great time is always "no problem."
