Dear Family and Friends-

As most of you know, we have been living together for close to 4 years now. Over these years we have accumulated a lot of things we have needed around our home. With that in mind, when we started looking at items for our registry, there were truly not many things that we were in need of. Granted there are a few odds and ends that we are still without, but all in all we're pretty well set. This is why we decided to set up a honeymoon registry. We both genuinely want to take a 'once in a lifetime' trip for our honeymoon. This is something that probably wouldnt be possible without a little help. We figured, since neither one of us seems to be getting any younger, starting a family of our own will most likely be in our near future, and a trip like this is a now-or-never (... or at least not for a LONG time!)

We're going to Moorea!

Moorea is an island located about 11 miles from the main island of Tahiti. We will be departing Cincinnati on Monday June 9th in the evening and flying to LA. After a few hours in LAX we will be departing for our overnight flight to Tahiti. We will arrive in Tahiti at 5am local time and will have a short layover before departing for the 10 minute flight over to the Island of Moorea. Transportation has been arranged from the Moorea airport to the Pearl resort. We should arrive at The Pearl around 8am and will have access to a hospitality suite to shower and rest while we await check-in to our bungalow at 2pm.

Will we be staying in the Moorea Pearl Resort & Spa which is situated on 7.5 acres of white sand beachfront , a short drive from arrival points on the island and two miles from the magnificent Cook ' s Bay. The mountain slopes are covered with pineapple plantations, and white sand beaches border crystalline lagoons.

This traditional Polynesian style hotel offers 95 rooms and bungalows. We will be staying in our own private beach bungalow.
