Thanks for visiting our honeymoon registry! We are so grateful that you are able to share in our happiness as we plan for our upcoming nuptials and honeymoon. When we both considered what were most important to us as we plan our lives together, we came up with three things:
spending this joyous time with close family and friends.
actually getting the time off from our respective residency programs to get married!
kicking off our lives as husband and wife with an awesome honeymoon.

Why a honeymoon registry? We have been so blessed to have just about everything to make our home functional and wanted to give our guests a way to give us a truly memorable gift- the most romantic, fun, adventurous, and relaxing honeymoon experience. Swimming with dolphins...lagoon dinner in a canoe...sunset cruise... doesn't get any better than that!
We are spending our honeymoon at the
Tides in Zihautanejo, Mexico. Check out the website at
www.tideszihuatanejo.com. The Tides offers our wedding guests the opportunity to purchase gift certificates that can be used towards luxurious accommodations, spa services, and dining at the resorts two restaurants, including breakfast in bed. You may purchase these gift certificates directly at
www.tideszihuatanejo.com/giftcertificates. For gifts towards airfare, airport transfers, and daily activities, please look at our entries below. And if you purchase gifts from Travelers Joy through our wedding website at
taniquaandchealon.weddings.com, the Wedding Channel will make a donation towards our charity of choice, the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
Thanks for visiting our honeymoon registry and giving us the gift of the most amazing honeymoon.
Lovingly,
Taniqua and Chealon
We're going to Zihautanejo, Mexico!
We are making the great trek to Zihautanejo, Mexico. With its fisherman village feel, Zihautanejo is the perfect getaway for us newlyweds. A town of 40,000 inhabitants, Zihuatanejo may be considered one of the first tourst destinations in the Americas. Zihuatanejo's main attraction is its well -protected bay where traveling boaters often spend the winter months moored in its peaceful clear waters. The bay offers various beaches for relaxation, recreation, dining, or simply enjoying the abundantly beautiful scenery and laid-back local lifestyle. A perfect way for two medical residents to catch up on life and enjoy each other uninterrupted.
