Yes, Paul finally popped the question - down on one knee on Christmas Eve. The first words out of my mouth were "are you sure?!" which I quickly corrected with a definite "YES!" and some tears of joy (the older I get the more sentimental I become). We are both looking forward to our happy life together.

Each one of you is an important part of our lives and we are delighted to share this milestone with you. We are very excited to see friends and family at our small reception this coming March, and though we're not sure yet what the menu will bring, we know it will definitely be a fun time. We are also looking forward to extending our party to June when we will be spending time with the Flores family at my grandparents' 60th Wedding Anniversary celebration. At that time, after attending two family reunions, I think we can officially welcome Paul (or Pablito Flores as we call him) into the Flores family.

After tying the knot in Orlando we are heading to Punta Cana on our honeymoon! We are looking forward to some relaxing time along with some adventure. Paul has been practicing his Spanish and so far he's able to say "la mujer come" and "el hombre bebe" ("the woman eats" and "the man drinks"). Not sure how useful that will be, but between now and then we are focusing on the essentials: bathroom, lost, wife, eat.
