Hello All!
First off, we'd like to say that your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for. The time, effort, and expense of traveling to be with us is something we deeply appreciate in our hearts, and we are so thrilled that we will be able to celebrate this happy occasion with you.
We have been blessed to have a lot of the "essential" home items a newly engaged couple needs. We hope you find this registry as a way to help us make our perfect honeymoon come true! While we traveled to Costa Rica a couple years ago when we first began dating, it was there that we truely fell in love and we are very much looking forward to visiting Costa Rica again, this time as husband and wife. It is because of the lifetime of memories we will gain from this trip and that we finally settled on a honeymoon registry. We greatly appreciate and will fondly remember these gifts for years to come. After all, the memories from this honeymoon will last a lot longer and offer us an opportunity to explore not only the southern portion of Costa Rica, but the chance to fall in love all over again.
We'll do our best to document our experience via photo and include it in your much-deserved "thank you" note.
Thanks again and we can't wait to see you at the wedding (or earlier!).
Love,
Tiphani and Jesse
We're going to Manuel Antonio and The Oso Peninsula!
Manuel Antonio-
Manuel Antonio National Park, lying on the pacific coast 7 kilometers south of the town of Quepos between Damas and Matapalos, protects a beautiful remnant piece of the tropical forest that once covered a wide variety of marine life.
With one of the most stunning, picture-postcard backdrops in the country, this is one of the lushest places in Costa Rica, with spectacular white-grey sand beaches fringed by thickly forested green hills. There is a huge variety of things to do- walking the Park's easy trails, whitewater rafting, ocean cruising, horseback riding, fishing, sea kayaking, to name but a few.
The park is an island of verdant wildness in a rapidly developing area with a relatively intact wet tropical forest and abundant wildlife.
This park has a remarkably long list of species inhabiting it: brown pelicans, brown boobies, tyrant hawk-eagles, gray-headed chachalacas, solater's ant bird, coatimundis, two and three toed sloths, toed anteaters, ocelots amongst others.
Oso Peninsula-
The pristine rainforests and the rugged natural beauty of the Osa Peninsula make this region among the most beautiful areas in Costa Rica. Declared 'one of the most biologically intense places on earth' by the National Geographic Magazine, the Osa Peninsula along with Drake Bay have today, become the premier eco-tourism destination in the county. The southern most peninsula in Costa Rica, the Osa Peninsula is a secluded nature wonderland and we can't wait to explore it!
