Dear Friends and Family,

You may be wondering why we've created a honeymoon registry. We realized that Laura had kitchen stuff, Dave had living room stuff and we both had just about everything else. So while we want to stress that your being in our lives and joining us in San Diego for our special day is more than enough, if you would like to give us a gift please consider helping us plan our first trip as husband and wife.

Our conversation about where to go on the honeymoon lasted about 15 seconds, and ended with two big smiles. We picked Thailand for the mix of beaches, jungles, rich cultural heritage, and the chance to immerse ourselves in a completely different world. As first-time visitors we're looking forward to an incredible experience that we'll always remember and hope to include some of the very enticing adventures below . . .

We're starting off the trip in Bangkok to see temples and city life, then heading north to Chiang Mai to see (hopefully) some tigers and elephants, then heading south to a few islands.

Elephant Nature Park - Elephant Nature Park is a unique elephant rescue project set in Northern Thailand. We'll learn about elephant care and be assigned an elephant for a day based on our (and their) personalities.
