We're going to Central California Coast!

We're both looking forward to a beautiful, relaxing, and fun week on the coast in central California. We'll arrive in San Francisco to take in the sights before staying the night in the Union Square district of downtown. The next day we'll take a drive down Highway 1 to Big Sur where we'll spend a couple of days hiking and taking in the beautiful scenery of the rugged coast. Next up, we'll head inland to Carmel Valley where we'll relax, get pampered, and enjoy the laid back atmosphere of Carmel Valley Ranch. Ending the trip, we found a fun bed and breakfast on the beach in Santa Cruz. We'll enjoy taking in the sights and sounds of this beach town before heading back home to reality.

Dinner at Pier 39. Pier 39 is a popular attraction built on one of the many piers in San Francisco Bay. Dinner will include views of the bay, Alcatraz, and many other San Francisco area landmarks.

Breakfast in bed. Before we head out of San Francisco & drive down scenic Hwy 1 to Big Sur, we'll want to start the day out right - with room service bringing up breakfast.

2 night's accommodation. We'll be staying at Glen Oaks Big Sur in a modern cabin in the forest overlooking the Big Sur River. Each cabin comes with its own private patio with fireplace and heated tiles in the bathroom!

17 Mile Drive. 17 Mile Drive is widely recognized as one of the most scenic drives in the world. The famous coastal landmark runs through Pacific Grove to Pebble Beach, from the dramatic Pacific coastline to the majestic Del Monte Forest.

Hearst Castle Tour in San Simeon, CA. Designed by architect Julia Morgan between 1919 and 1947, this massive estate was owned by the newspaper magnate William Randolph Hearst. Word has it we might see some zebras freely roaming the land as well!
