When Eric and I began to discuss where we might go for our honeymoon we looked at all of our options: Hawaii, Mexico, the Caribbean, cruises to any of the above, but we are getting married in the winter which isn't exactly the best time to visit a tropical paradise unless you're a surfer, and we are not. Plus, having wrestled with the weather in Hawaii for 2 months over the summer I wasn't too thrilled about going anywhere where the weather would play a big part in our activities. Then, someone mentioned that since we got engaged in Paris we should honeymoon in Rome. When I brought up the idea to Eric he said "great, I've always wanted to go" and it was settled. Rome for our honeymoon! But, Rome would be the last stop on our first adventure as husband and wife because we would start at the beginning. Paris and the Eiffel Tower, where we got engaged, is to be our first stop. Next we'll stop at one of the most intriguing cities in the world, Venice! Then on to Rome for a week. Museums, ruins, food, wine, and anything else we can think of!

We even have a full tea service and oyster shucker thanks to my parents but, what we would really like is an amazing honeymoon! So, with a little help from our loved ones; its off to Europe we go!
