We will be flying into Albuquerque and heading from there to a small studio condo in Santa Fe. The condo is on a quiet street two miles from the center of the city and has a kitchen and a beautiful patio with views of the Sangre de Cristo mountains. The condo comes with bikes, so we'll be able to set out on any number of wheeled adventures.

While in Santa Fe we are planning trips to museums, cafes, and to the famous Santa Fe Farmer's Market. We'll also take day trips to hike in the nearby mountains and to visit the Cliff Dwellings at Bandelier National Park.

We'll be visiting Albuquerque on Wednesday to attend the annual Hot Air Balloon Festival. Wednesday morning is an event called the Mass Ascension, when every balloon takes off at once. With any luck, we'll be in the air with them on a balloon ride of our own! Also in Albuquerque is one of the reasons we chose to visit Santa Fe in the first place: Pack Goats! We'll hike with these little guys and they will carry our lunches!
