Hi Everyone!
First off, we'd like to thank you! Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for. The time, effort and expense of traveling to be with us is something we deeply appreciate, and we're so thrilled that we will be able to celebrate our special day with you.
We're lucky to already have a home full of everything we need, so please enjoy browsing this wish list, where you can contribute to our dream honeymoon! Travel has been such a big part of our story and we’re so excited to start the next chapter of our lives with a once in a lifetime trip. Having our friends and family participate makes it that much more special. We greatly appreciate and will fondly remember these gifts for years to come.
Thanks for visiting and we can't wait to see you on our big day!
Love,
Jen & Travis
COVID-19 update: With everything going on we're unable to have our honeymoon as we originally planned. We're going to be traveling to Bora Bora immediately after the wedding and will have to postpone the other designations until next year. We look forward to celebrating with everyone when we can!
We're going to French Polynesia - Australia - Asia!
We're starting off in Bora Bora, then heading to New Zealand and Australia. After that we'll travel to Hong Kong, Chiang Mai and Bangkok. Finally, we'll head to the Maldives and Singapore.
BORA BORA:
We plan on starting our honeymoon off in gorgeous Bora Bora by relaxing in our over water bungalow and enjoying some of the aquatic activities that the group of islands offer. We would like to go snorkeling with the stingrays, sailing around Mount Otemanu and go stand-up paddle boarding in the lagoon.
NEW ZEALAND:
We only have a couple days in New Zealand, but while we're there we would like to take in as much of the natural beauty that the country has to offer as we can. We plan on visiting the Waitomo glowworm caves, mud pools at Rotorua and if we can Milford Sound.
AUSTRALIA:
While visiting the vast country of Australia we plan on seeing the sites of Sydney and climbing the Harbor Bridge. We'll then venture into the outback to visit Uluru and camp under the stars. The next stop will be a snorkeling trip to Great Barrier Reef and Whitsunday Island.
HONG KONG:
We'll spend our short time in Hong Kong exploring the cultural monuments in the city, taking the tram up Victoria Peak and trying out some of the regional cuisine.
CHIANG MAI:
While in Chiang Mai we'll visit Buddhist temples, bustling markets and Doi Inthanon. We'll also get the chance to go on a half-day tour at the Elephant Sanctuary where we'll be able to help bathe and feed the animals.
BANGKOK:
We'll only be spending one day in Bangkok, but we plan to soak up as much of the city as we can. We're looking forward to seeing some of the temples and cultural landmarks, as well as experiencing the flavors from one of the markets. We'll also be cruising down the Chao Phraya River.
MALDIVES:
We'll be starting to wrap up our trip in the Maldives. After the hustle and bustle of Thailand the remote, relaxing beaches of an atoll will be very welcomed. We plan on enjoying the natural beauty of the island nation on the sun bathing on the beach, snorkeling and sailing.
SINGAPORE:
Our last stop of the trip is Singapore. We plan on grabbing a rooftop cocktail at the Marina Bay Sands, sampling the amazing food at the Chinatown Complex Market & Food Centre, strolling through the gardens and enjoying the view from the Singapore Flyer.
