Hi everyone!

First off, we'd like to say that your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for. The time, effort, and expense of traveling to be with us in Crested Butte, CO is something we deeply appreciate in our hearts, and we are so thrilled that we will be able to celebrate this happy occasion with you. Crested Butte is a very special place for us and 'home'. We are lucky to of had our time in CB especially for all the mountain bike adventures!

We have everything we could need, yet we are asked about a registry. We have traveled all over the world together, raced bikes across Costa Rica and will continue to experience the world by bike. One place we visited in 2010 was an elephant rescue in Chiang Mai, Thailand. We learned about the abuse, neglect and torture these gentle giants go through to be worked from logging, street shows, 'painting', tourist rides and circus. We met recovering meth addict elephants (yes meth to get more work out of them), blinded and injured elephants all from being forced to work. Lek, the founder of Elephant Nature park, grew up in an elephant family in Thailand and has committed her life to helping Elephants in need, teach more humane work/training ethics and political change.

We vowed to return and and spend time volunteering cleaning up after them, feeding and whatever else needs to be done. http://www.elephantnaturepark.org/ to learn more and it should be on everyones list!

So here is a 'registry' to help get us to Thailand to have a volunteer / working. Please do not feel obligated.

We'll do our best to document our experience via photo and include it in your much-deserved "thank you" note.
