Hi everyone!
First off, we'd like to say that your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for. The time, effort, and expense of traveling to be with us is something we deeply appreciate in our hearts, and we are so thrilled that we will be able to celebrate this happy occasion with you.
Being together for some time now, we already have to have a lot of the "essential" home items a newly engaged couple needs. We hope you find this registry as a way to help us make our perfect honeymoon come true! While we have taken many exciting trips together, we are very much looking forward to our first real adventure as a married couple. It is because of the lifetime of memories we will gain from this trip that we finally settled on a honeymoon registry. We greatly appreciate and will fondly remember these gifts for years to come. After all, the memories from this honeymoon will last a lot longer than a new set of wine glasses (especially at our breakage rate!).
We'll do our best to document our experience via photo and include it in your much-deserved "thank you" note.
Thanks again and we can't wait to see you at the wedding - or earlier!
We're going to Hotel B Cozumel!
We have decided to take a "mini moon" with our camper trailer and Beja directly after the wedding because we are thinking we may be a little bit exhausted after the wedding week and it will be nice to decompress in one of our favorite getaways, Sun Valley Idaho where we can mountain bike, hike with The Beige One and most importantly, unplug. Jumping on a plane and going through customs and international airports right away felt stressful and hectic; especially in the heat of summer, Europe didn't feel like the right fit. However, I have a break in February and snorkeling, lounging, and soaking up the sun on a beach resort in Mexico feels absolutely perfect. White sandy beaches, tourquoise blue waters, snorkeling with exotic fish, swimming in cenotes, massages on the beach, smooth tequila, authentic Mexican cuisine-- it's the honeymoon of our dreams, and well worth the wait. We are going to fly into Cancun, spend two days in Playa Del Carmen so we can explore Tulume, and then ferry to Cozumel and stay in this heavenly resort called Allegro Cozumel. One good thing about a delayed honeymoon is that it is something magical to look forward to in the soul-sucking, bone-chilling cold of winter.
