Hi everyone!
Its been more than ten years since we first met, and of all the adventures we have braved together, getting married will finally to be added to the list! We have elected for a small, intimate ceremony nestled in the redwood forests of Santa Cruz, CA. We plan to have a large, casual reception for family and friends the following weekend at our home base of Bakersfield, CA. Your presence at our celebration is the greatest gift we could ask for. The time, effort, and expense of traveling to be with us is something we deeply appreciate in our hearts, and we are so thrilled that we will be able to celebrate this happy occasion with you.
We are very excited to start our first adventure as husband as wife, and have chosen Costa Rica as our honeymoon destination! Due to a career in travel nursing, Chris and I have discovered that it is much easier to move every 3-6 months when things are pared back to the essentials. For this reason, we have chosen a honeymoon registry as opposed to a traditional registry. The memories created during this trip will last a lifetime and be infinitely more special than a toaster oven.
We look forward to seeing you all at the reception!

Love,
Chris and Heather

PS... We're still not tired of the rain :)

After 8 hours on a plane, a relaxing evening of dinner and drinks is a must.

The first night of our honeymoon spent in the capitol, San Jose.
Gift Fulfilled

Our second night in the big city, shaking off the jetlag and getting accustomed to Costa Rica time.

No matter how cute the little reptiles are I will do my best to make sure we don't get eaten by the souvenirs.
