- Service Fee
Traveler's Joy does not have a sign-up or upgrade fee. Gifts provided by cash, check, or direct transfer by guests as well as all standard U.S. gift redemption fees are also free. There is a service fee of 2.95% on gifts contributed to your registry using a credit card (this includes gifts provided with services such as Apple Pay). Fee responsibility can be shifted in account settings. Gift givers are charged a transaction fee when providing a gift using a credit card to help cover processing costs. For more information on fees please read the Common Questions page. - Use of Materials on this Website
TJ maintains this website for your personal entertainment, information, education, and communication. You should assume that everything you see or read on the website (such as images, photographs, illustrations, texts and other materials) ("Content") is the property of TJ and its licensors and partners. Without TJ's prior written permission, you may not sell, reproduce, distribute, modify, display, publicly perform, prepare derivative works based on, repost or otherwise use any of our Content in any way for any purpose, including using our Content on any other website or in a networked computer environment. However, you may electronically copy or print pages from this website for personal, non-commercial use, provided that you include a copyright notice on each page. - Member Balance Redemption
Redemptions in the form of a bank check, bank ACH, and international wire transfer will only be issued in the name and address of Traveler #1 ("Member"). For PayPal redemption requests, only the email address that was first registered with TJ can be used. Each individual gift to the Member is available for redemption after a 72-hour waiting period. For more information on gift redemption policies please read our FAQs. - Gift Refunds
Upon the completion of a gift given to a TJ Member, there is no refund immediately possible. TJ has sole discretion to determine the validity and response of a return/cancellation request. Traveler's Joy encourages gift givers to submit a support ticket on our contact page (http://www.travelersjoy.com/contact/) or call 888.878.5569 if there has been an error regarding the amount of the gift or the Traveler's Joy Member for whom it was intended for. - Disputed Gift(s)
If a gift giver disputes a valid charge from Traveler's Joy Inc. and the Member in question still has the disputed gift(s) as part of their current balance, the value of the gift along with a $30.00 chargeback fee will be deducted from said Member balance. If the Member has no current balance, the disputed amount plus chargeback fee will be held back from any future gifts they may receive. Traveler's Joy Inc. will contact the gift giver in an effort to rectify any situation involving disputed gift(s). - Closing Your Account
At any time, you may disable your account and receive the remainder of your balance. Members have the ability to disable their account from the account management section of the website. Disabling a registry removes the registry page and eliminates the registry both the search and directory. - Unclaimed Balances
A Member account with a balance that is not redeemed two-years after the wedding date will be closed and may be assessed maintenance charges. Traveler's Joy, Inc. will attempt to contact the Member approximately 90 days before the two-year period elapses. - Charitable and Non-profit Organizations
TJ is not responsible for the transactions a Member may conduct with charitable/non-profit organizations as a result of the use of TJ services. TJ is not responsible for monitoring, confirming, or reviewing the conduct, status, representations, or other actions or omissions of the charitable/non-profit organizations. - Taxation Consequences
The Member acknowledges that TJ makes no claims or promises regarding any and all tax obligations or consequences that may result from your activities as a Member of TJ and the Member's use of the services provided by TJ. Furthermore, the Member agrees that TJ has no obligation to maintain records or provide you with documentation of your transactions with charitable/non-profit organizations for tax reporting purposes. - Your Submissions
TJ likes to hear from you. Any creative or original materials or any other creative suggestions, text, software, music, sound, photographs, graphics, videos, messages, ideas, notes, drawings, concepts, marketing plans or other information that you submit to us by electronic mail or otherwise, will be treated in accordance with these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference.
By submitting and/or posting Content to the website, you automatically grant to TJ a royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, non-exclusive and fully sublicensable right and license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, edit, translate, distribute, perform, create derivative work of and display such Content alone, or as a part of other works in any form, media, or technology, whether now known or hereafter developed. Any Content you transmit or post may be used by TJ or licensed to others by TJ for any purpose, including but not limited to reproduction, disclosure, transmission, publication, broadcast and posting.

- User Content Posted on the Site
