Greetings everyone!
We want to express our gratitude for your presence at our wedding. Your decision to travel, spend time, effort, and expense to be with us means the world to us. We are excited to celebrate this joyous occasion with all of you!
As a couple, we have been fortunate enough to have many of the "essential" home items that newlyweds need. Therefore, we have created a honeymoon registry as a way for you to help us make our dream honeymoon a reality. We have gone on many exciting trips together, but we are looking forward to our first adventure as husband and wife. The memories we create on this trip will last a lifetime, and we appreciate any contributions towards making it a reality. We will cherish these gifts and the memories we make for years to come, as they are far more valuable than material possessions.
Our itinerary is as follows: we will fly into Florence and spend a few days there before driving to Assisi to spend the night. We have already signed up for a private cooking class in someone's home to learn how to make homemade pasta. The next morning, we will attend a meeting in town and then drive to a small town just outside of Rome, where we will spend three nights on a lake. After that, we will turn in our car and spend three nights in Rome, where we will visit popular attractions such as the Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Colosseum, and Vatican. We will also enjoy delicious meals at some fantastic restaurants. On the second night in Rome, we will have dinner with Rocky's Aunt Reni, Uncle Joe, and their kids as well as their families. It is a blessing to see some family in Italy, where our ancestors are from.
Following our stay in Rome, we will drive to the city of Pompeii and spend the night before taking a tour of the ruins the next day. We are thrilled about this experience! After Pompeii, we will take a taxi to the Amalfi coast, where we will stay for five nights, soaking up the beauty of the coast, relaxing, dining, and exploring nearby attractions such as the island of Capri. Next, we will fly to Sicily and stay in an Airbnb near the famous hotel featured in the show White Lotus, in the city of Tamarina, for six nights. We will enjoy all that Tamarina and Sicily have to offer before flying back to Florence for two nights before heading home.
We promise to document our experience through photos and include them in your "Thank You" note. We will also post and tag you on our social media accounts to show you how much fun we had and the memories we made thanks to your generosity.
