Hi Friends and Family!

Thank you for visiting our honeymoon registry. We are looking forward to celebrating our destination wedding with friends and family July 16th 2012. We feel so blessed to have such supportive and loving friends and family that can share in our special day.

After our engagement in December, we realized that between the two of us we have already created a comfortable home for our family. We contemplated long and hard where to have our registry and knowing how much we have enjoyed our prior travel adventures together, we decided to use Traveler's Joy. After all, the memories from this honeymoon will last a lot longer than a new toaster!

Our hope is that our friends and family will help us celebrate our wedding with a once and a lifetime journey to beautiful Punta Cana, Dominican Republic!

We're going to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic!

Punta Cana- On the easternmost tip of the island, 211km (131 miles) east of Santo Domingo, is Punta Cana. Known for its 32km (20 miles) of white-sand beaches and clear waters, Punta Cana and Bávaro are an escapist's retreat. Set against a backdrop of swaying palm trees, these beaches are unrivaled in the Caribbean. Within some of the most arid landscapes in the Caribbean -- it rarely rains during daylight hours -- Punta Cana and Bávaro have been recognized throughout Europe (especially Spain) and the Americas for their climate.

For our wedding we have chosen Dreams Palm Beach all inclusive resort. This hotel seemed like the perfect place to enjoy time with our family and friends relaxing, eating, drinking, enjoying the onsite entertainment, and time alone as newlyweds.

We can't wait to enjoy many of the excursions Punta Cana has to offer like snorkeling in the beautiful turquoise water, horsebacking riding along the beach, and swimming with the dolphons. Dave is also looking forward to the more adventurous excursions especially dune buggying. I'm not sure if I'll be sitting that one out or not I'm more looking forward to the beautiful weather and getting pampered.
