Dearest Friends and Family,
Welcome to Ted and Jules' Honeymoon Registry!
First of all, we want to thank each of you for celebrating with us during this time. It wouldn't be nearly as special to do this alone, like we almost did with a crazy elopement to Mala. (Where's Malta you ask? Yeah, that's why we almost picked it. We even bought the tickets. Impulsiveness...but hey the thought of me and my hot, black man alone on a little island, well impulsiveness can drive you with those thoughts..You get the point)
But serioulsy I'm so glad we decided to follow through with a wedding because honestly, having all of you in one place at one time is like a dream of mine. Although our families are small and are all over the world, you are still very dear to us. And so many of you 'non blood relatives' have become like surrogate families. We feel like adopted children in many ways---
So THANK YOU for flying down here, driving up here, just being with us. We need you. We will always need you.

August 2nd marks to the day, 4 year of my arrival to Saint Johns, Florida. For us this is significant. I stayed. I never wanted to stay. Not that it was bad, it just wasnt the crazy adventure I wanted. Well, I was wrong. It's been an adventure all right. At times, a nightmare. At other times, the best place ever. Like today. And its the same with Ted (T.homas E.dward. D.avison for those of you who are still asking, "who's Ted?") Ted tried leaving 4 times too. We both got away for periods. Mozambique, Argentina, Honduras, Hippie bus tours, but God kept bringing us back. We learned to persevere and then He gave us each other. (Actually He gave us each other 4 years ago, but um, well me and fro man weren't having it, you know the story)

But now, now it's time. The craziest adventure of our lives begins August 2nd, 2008. And to celebrate, we are starting out with the way Ted won my heart; taking me on a crazy road trip.
First we start with a few days to unwind in a local b and b. Then we fly up to Vicotoria Island, BC, to do some whale watching on the San Juan Islands from our kayaks, boat over to Washington State for some hiking in Mount Olympic National Park, take a wine tour through Washington, hit up a Jack Johnson concert in Portland then spend the last week at Kaui, off of Hawaii.
This trip is a dream come true and a very much needed time of relaxation and togetherness.
This trip is more important to us right now than pots and pans so this is for sure a cool way to give a gift!
