Wow, where do I start! (: Well, we actually get married and then come home and go to work for a week ):, I know, not how it’s supposed to be but our cruise doesn’t leave till May 26th, so we have a bit of time…Thanks to our family friend we were fortunate enough to find out about this neat trip (thanks Matt and Stace!) We leave bound for New York on Saturday, May 24th. We will probably get into New York a little late, but we will stay a day and a half and then we will board our cruise ship, the Caribbean Princess (Princess Cruises). We will visit many places such as Bermuda (West End), San Juan Puerto Rico, St. Thomas U.S. Virgin Islands, Grand Turk and Caicos Islands and cruise the beautiful Atlantic Ocean. There will be so much to do at all these places such as snorkel, helmet dive (sounds funny, but it looks neat! You walk on the bottom of the ocean floor and view the colorful fish) take a Skyride and view Paradise from the mountain tops, take a helicopter ride, visit old ancient castles and churches in San Juan and so much more. Not to forget shopping and bringing back little chatzkeis(nick-knacks) for everyone! (: (: Just to be able to relax in paradise is enough. Yes, I know why did we go all the way to Hawaii to get married if we were going to leave paradise to go somewhere else? Well, we love the islands and thought it would be neat for everyone to share our special day with us and have a little vacation as well. As for going somewhere else, why not, you only live once right?! The cruise lasts 9 days (we can’t wait), then we get back to port in New York. We will stay in New York a few more days and do the whole tourist thing; visit the Statue of Liberty, the site of the Twin Towers, take the subway/taxi, and of course one last thing: see a New York Yankee’s game. It is going to be the last season that the Yankee’s will play at Yankee stadium. 2009 season they will be playing at Macomb Dam’s Park, so we want to catch them before we leave, since I have never been to New York. I know that we will have a really good time and will see so much, since this will be the last vacation we will have for the next 5 years!!
