Hi everyone!
First off, we'd like to say that your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for. The time, effort, and expense of traveling to be with us is something we deeply appreciate in our hearts, and we are so thrilled that we will be able to celebrate this happy occasion with you.
We have been blessed to have a lot of the "essential" home items a newly engaged couple needs. We hope you find this registry as a way to help us make our perfect honeymoon come true! While we have taken many exciting trips together, we are very much looking forward to our first real adventure as a married couple. It is because of the lifetime of memories we will gain from this trip that we finally settled on a honeymoon registry. We greatly appreciate and will fondly remember these gifts for years to come. After all, the memories from this honeymoon will last a lot longer than a new set of wine glasses (especially at Bridget's breakage rate!).
We'll do our best to document our experience via photo and include it in your much-deserved "thank you" note.
Thanks again and we can't wait to see you at the wedding - or sooner!
We're going to The Hawaiian Islands!
Our first stop on our honeymoon is the Big Island of Hawaii where we will spend 5 days exploring active volcanoes, hiking to amazing waterfalls, playing a little golf, snorkeling beautiful reefs and night diving with manta ray..... or in bed if we follow the Travis version of this itinerary!
New Update: Unfortunately due to the tragic fire that took place on Maui, we have changed this leg of our adventure. We are now going to Kauai. While on the garden isle, we will hike the famous Na Pali coast, go tubing through old sugar field canals, zip line throughout the rain forest canopy, swim with sea lions on poipu beach and take in a beachside luau. We are touched by the efforts Marriott resorts is doing on Maui by taking in many of the displaced families. We would like to contribute by making a charitable donation to help with the recovery efforts.
Off to Honolulu to swim with dolphins, fish for wahoo and take in the history at Pearl Harbor. A trip to Oahu is not complete without enjoying the Waikiki nightlife and curing our hangovers the next day with the locals favorite Moco Loco breakfast.
We will complete our journey with some beach time, a relaxing couples massage and a romantic candlelight dinner.
