Hi everyone!
First off, we'd like to say that your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for. The time, effort, and expense of traveling to be with us is something we deeply appreciate in our hearts, and we are so thrilled that we will be able to celebrate this happy occasion with you.
We have been blessed to have a lot of the "essential" home items a newly engaged couple needs. We hope you find this registry as a way to help us make our perfect honeymoon come true! While we have taken many exciting trips together, we are very much looking forward to our first real adventure as a married couple. It is because of the lifetime of memories we will gain from this trip that we finally settled on a honeymoon registry. We greatly appreciate and will fondly remember these gifts for years to come. After all, the memories from this honeymoon will last a lot longer than a new set of wine glasses (especially at our breakage rate!).
We'll do our best to document our experience via photo and include it in your much-deserved "thank you" note.
Thanks again and we can't wait to see you at the wedding - or earlier!
We're going to Vietnam!!
We never envisioned our dream honeymoon would be to Vietnam. But Tristan wanted Asia, Sarah wanted beach, and voila - Vietnam! And to do a trip like this justice, we quickly realized a one-week adventure would not be sufficient. So after mapping out all our dream excursions, we have a pretty solid itinerary.
We'll first be flying into Hanoi - which has more places to visit than we possibly have time for. Some highlights include Hoan Kiem Lake, the Old Quarter, Temple of Literature and HMC Mausoleum. We'll spend the first two days just trying to soak it all in.
From Hanoi, we'll trek over to Halong Bay for a junk boat cruise, which should mean the next couple of days include sailing, kayaking, snorkeling, and just overall relaxing.
Following this excursion we'll work our way through Ninh Binh down to Tam Coc , who offers boat rides through the rice fields. Should be such a neat and unique experience!
Headed down to Hue, there are more pagodas, museums, and markets than we could all see - but we'll certainly try! And just a couple hours from Hue, you can reach Danang, an incredible beach destination, but also oddly some jungle adventures as well. Think beaches, hikes, waterfalls, bridges and more.
Only an hour from Danang is Marble Mountain, known for their caves and grottos. The pictures alone are incredible, it will be amazing to see it all in person.
With the trip coming to a close, we'll head to Hoi An, for a last couple days of beach (Sarah's one honeymoon request!). Then back to Danang and onto Spokane.
