Greetings Family & Friends,

The South Dakota wedding on June 30th was a success! Thanks to all who came. We are planning to head north by northwest to live in Fairbanks, Alaska where Michael teaches poetry, pentameter, and puns. We're taking Laura's wheels up through North Dakota, Montana, and a handful of Canadian provinces--the cool ones.

Since we'll already have Laura's car packed with belongings for the big move, we are not in need of the traditional wedding registry--instead we opted for a honeymoon registry. As you can see below, the jaunt will be like a game of Candyland--filled with twists, turns, sweets, and happy endings. In some ways, the road trip will also be like a game of Monopoly, but hopefully not as long. As you will see, there are many great ways to help out with this continent-spanning odyssey.

We are spending the 4th of July watching (and making) fireworks at the Royal River Casino in Michael's hometown of Flandreau, SD. Then we're off like a turd of hurdles.

We cannot thank you enough for your thoughtfulness and support. Thanks for helping us build memories! We'll see some of you later this summer in sunny Fairbanks!
